Currently, the bicycle damping value can be directly adjusted using the rotary switch by the rider in modern bicycles. However, it is inconvenient to do so even involved in a high risk when riding. For this reason, this paper proposes a wireless bicycle damper control system that can be handled by the rider more conveniently and safely. The proposed system applies the microprocessors integrated with the bluetooth communication module. The control signal from the front microprocessor can be transmitted to the backend microprocessor to adjust the damping value via the bluetooth module. The motor used to rotate the damper mechanics is controlled by the backend microprocessor. The experimental results confirm that the proposed system can implement the adjustment of the damper coefficient effectively.
