The highest guide of them is the largest benefit of the children. When the unfitness parents are brought to the court, which way is the better one-Depriving the parents of parental rights or improving their ability of taking care of children? This essay tries to find out the best way to protect the benefit of children. According to the result of this essay, I think that depriving or limiting the parental rights just passively protects the children against being harmed continually. The only way to elevate their welfare is to improve the parents’ ability through enforced parenting education. In order to achieve the goal, this essay tries to provide some suggestions for revision of related law and further plan of public policy.
