Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都市計劃學系 === 105 === This study investigated the dinning-out activities of families which have elementary children in the mid-west district. Aims to explore the status of family dinning-out arrangements, and how the arrangements and spatial movements are related. This research involved a survey, comprised of three sets of questionnaires concerning dinning-out arrangements on weekdays and weekends and demographic information. Four schools of 269 students’ families participated in this study. The quantitive analysis of the questionnaires was conducted through descriptive statistic and chi-square test in order to describe the dinning-out activities and indicate the direction and relationship between the three sets of variables. The result showed that the dinning-out activities were affected by different factors on weekdays and weekends. The spatial movements of dinning-out activities were affected by location of residence and vehicles utilization. To conclude, this study may be of importance in exploring the relationships between dinning-out activities, household characteristics and spatial movements, as well as in providing planners with a better understanding of how urban families arrange their everyday life from the perspective of dinning-out activities.
