By semi-structured in-depth interviews with seven single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages who have never had marriages, the researcher intended to achieve following purposes: First, to understand the reasons why the single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages are still single.Second, to explore the stress of the single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages. Third, to explore how the single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages adjust the stress and what are the social support for them. Fourth, to understand how the single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages see their future. Conclusions of this study are as follows: First, the main factors of being single are the awareness of women's rights and their own negative experience.Other people's unhappy marriages and the lacking of elf-confidence are the secondary factors. Second, the stress of single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages come from relatives, friends, also social prejudice.External stress can be eliminated over time, but the internal stress grows bigger as they become older. Third, single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages adjust their stress by getting involve to social activities or cultivate some interests. Fourth, In the high age of women are faced with single pressure adjustment process from the mind of the change began,Accept their own single facts,Learning to cultivate self-confidence,A good understanding of their own to face the pressure,Build a beautiful life. Fifth, religion, social circle, and educational programs are where single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages get support during difficulty. Sixth, when planning their future, single unmarried women at middle and advanced ages think mainly about their health, living environment, and financial freedom. Their attitude about marriage is also something worthy of studying. Finally, suggestions. Middle-aged unmarried single women as long as single day, It is necessary to bear the pressure on the single,five suggestions were in accordance with the results.
