Methods: The 24 runners were randomly assigned into two groups of 12 persons (8 males and 4 females),(1)WP(2) Placebo And added whey protein 5 weeks,Respectively for the 3 weeks of exercise training combined whey protein supplement, and 2 weeks after the match two stage whey protein supplement. The half-marathon race in supplement after 3 weeks and continue to add WP two weeks to observe the players fatigue recovery scenario,1 week and 3 week for the main test items: exercise test (12 minutes walk-run ), Body composition test and clinical blood biochemistry index、5 week testing Body composition , as well as serum levels of aspartateaminotransferase (AST),triacylglycerol (TG),lactatedeh-ydrogenase (LDH),and other clinical indicators of blood biochemical parameters related fatigue test . Results: Our results showed that 12 minutes walk-run test results distance was significantly increased in the WP group. Whereas the body composition the Weight, BMI, muscle weight was significantly increased in the WP group. Fatigue-related indicators in clinical blood biochemistry test section ALT, LDH, CK, BUN, TC were significantly lower in the WP group, Conclusion:Our result shows that healthy male and female middle and long distance race athletes. Whey protein supplement after athletic training could significantly enhance exercise endurance performance and muscle mass and supplementation improved exercise performance and biochemical assessments in runners.
