Method: Thirty-two female ICR mice were used in this study and divided into four groups (n = 8/group) to receive vehicle or CAP by oral gavage for 4 week at 0.21, 0.41 and 1.0g/kg mouse/day, which were respectively designated the Vehicle, CAP-1X, CAP-2X, and CAP-5X groups. Exercise performance and anti-fatigue function were evaluated by forelimb grip strength, endurance swimming time, and levels of physical fatigue-associated parameters such as serum lactate, ammonia, glucose, and creatine kinase after an acute exercise challenge. Result: The forelimb grips strength of mice in group CAP-2X and CAP-5X were significantly increased as compare to the vehicle group. After the 15 minute swimming exercise, the levels of serum lactate in CAP-1X, CAP-2X and CAP-5X groups were significantly lower than vehicle group by 32%, 36% and 37%, respectively. The levels of ammonia in CAP-1X, CAP-2X and CAP-5X groups were also significantly lowered approximately 40% than the vehicle group. However, the serum glucose levels in CAP-1X, CAP-2X and CAP-5X groups were significantly higher than the vehicle group. In addition, the levels of serum CK in CAP-1X, CAP-2X and CAP-5X groups were significantly lowered by 35%, 39% and 41%, respectively, than the vehicle group. Conclusion: The supplementation with CAP could have beneficial effects on performance improvement and anti-fatigue function. HUANG,CI-JHANG 黃啟彰 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 69 zh-TW
