Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 化學學系 === 105 === Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) have been one of the mostly studied technologies because of their advantages like simple fabrication process, low cost, and flexibility, etc. Metal complexes and organic dyes have their own advantages; therefore, combining them together might afford a novel and efficient sensitizer, has become our goal of research.
We designed a series of organic-inorganic dyes consisting pyridyl thieno[3,4-d]imidazole ligand. The pure organic sensitizer can coordinate with metal and form transition metal complex to be a hybrid sensitizer. Our new design of hybrid sensitizers might open up a new window in the field of dye sensitized solar cells and achieve enhanced efficiency.
