Questionnaire methods were employed in the study. 27 classes(736 students)were randomly sampled from 9junior high schools in the central Taiwan, including Taichung, Changhua, and Nantou. Instruments used in the study were Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment, Interpersonal Relationships Scale for Junior High School Students and School Behaviours Rating Scale from TRICA, and School Life Adjustment Scale. Data obtained in the study were analyzed by Average, Standard Deviation, Independent-Sample T Test, one-way ANOVA, Multiple Regression Models, and Sobel test. The results indicated that: 1. Parental attachment for the junior high school students in central Taiwan was above average. 2. Peer interpersonal relationship for the junior high school students in central Taiwan was above average. 3. School life adjustment for the junior high school students in central Taiwan was above average. 4. Different genders for the junior high school students in central Taiwan had no prominent significant differences in parental attachment. 5. Different genders for the junior high school students in central Taiwan had prominent significant differences in peer interpersonal relationship and school life adjustment. 6. Different grades for the junior high school students in central Taiwan had prominent significant differences in peer interpersonal relationship, parental attachment, and school life adjustment. 7. Parental attachment for the junior high school students in central Taiwan was predictive for school life adjustment. 8. Parental attachment for the junior high school students in central Taiwan was predictive for peer interpersonal relationship. 9. Peer interpersonal relationship for the junior high school students in central Taiwan was predictive for school life adjustment. 10. Peer interpersonal relationship had partical mediation effect between parental attachment and school life adjustment for the junior high school students in central Taiwan. The research is based on the result to conduct discussion and provide suggestions for educational guidance,parental education and further studies.
