Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 運動學系運動與健康休閒碩士班 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to compare the differences between the non- swimmer and swimmer. The voluntary participants were 18 non-swimmers whom were department of physical education (PE) students (mean age: 20.41 ± 0.63 years old, mean height: 1.71 ± 0.08 m, mean weight: 68.64 ± 11.50 kg) and 18 professional swimmers (mean age: 20.72 ± 1.53 years old, mean height: 1.71 ± 0.08 m, mean weight: 68.64 ± 11.50 kg). Participants were asked to stand on a Kislter force platform (9260AA6, 1000 Hz) and to perform the tasks of limits of stability and curve tracking that bond on Measurement, analysis & Reporting Software. Independent sample t tests were used to examine the differences in the parameters of postural control between the experimental groups (α = .05). The results showed there were no differences between PE students and professional swimmers on the parameters of sway distances of backward, right, and left directions. The parameters of curve tracking, root mean square error, normalized error, mean absolute error, and cross-correlation, were no differences between swimmers and non-swimmers (ps > .05). The sway distance of forward in swimmers were less than non-swimmers significantly (p < .05). It indicated that there were no differences between swimmers and non-swimmers on the ability of curve tracking at the frontal plane.
