Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 輔導與諮商學系研究所 === 105 === This study aims to probe the MBTI personality type of junior high school students by person-fit indices. We mainly use psychological function preference inventory (PFPI) and self-assessment questions to probe the personality type of junior high school students. From the self-assessment scale and psychological function preference inventory (PFPI), we can separate the results into two personality type patterns, and study the interactions between patterns by using person-fit indices(W, B, C, M ). Summary are as below. 1. The consistency of scale was statistically significant association between the academic achievement and dimension of ‘Judgment / Perception‘. 2. The concealment response set W of 7th grade student was significantly lower than 8th and 9th grade. The idiosyncratic response set of 7th grade student was significantly higher than 8th and 9th grade. 3. In dimension of ‘Extroverted / Introverted‘, ‘Sensing / Intuition‘ and ‘Judgment / Perception‘, there was significant differences of response set in personality type patterns. 4. There was discrimination on consistency of personality type patterns by background variables and response set. Especially in variable of grade and exaggerated response set B, it caould be discriminated against the consistency of ‘Sensing / Intuition‘. Simultaneously variable of response set W and C caould be discriminated against the consistency of ‘Judgment / Perception‘. According to research findings, the scale results might be influenced by the background variables and response set of junior high school students. Furthermore it might exist difference between scale results and junior students’ self-recognition. Consequently, the advice of the research result may continue to explore the influence on background variable to response sets and difference of personality type patterns. Last but not least, this scale could be used as 7th grade student’s enrollment test, and grasp student’s accurate personality type.
