碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育學系研究所 === 105 === The main purpose of this study is to explore the status of teachers 'personality and job burnout in primary school teachers and to explore the relationship between teachers' personality and job burnout in different background variables. In this study, 300 questionnaires were sent out, and 152 questionnaires were filled out online. The findings of study are below: 1. Teachers' personality traits of the primary school teachers are more affinitive and rigorous. 2. The job burnout of the primary school teachers is more emotional exhausition. 3. There are significant differences in the degree of teachers' personality in background variables such as gender, age, marriage, health status, position and school size. 4. There were significant differences in job burnout among the background variables such as age, teaching years, health status and school size. 5. The overall performance of the primary school teachers is negatively correlated with the overall job burnout. The higher the teachers' personality traits, the lower the job burnout performance.
