These pipelines are buried underground by the cut and cover method that could result in noise and air pollution during construction. The construction could also cause nearby building collapse and road subsidence that blocks traffic during construction in the rainy season. These pipes are able to be jacked underground without cut and cover during construction due to the progress of positioning technology in engineering surveys. The pipe jacking method can reduce the operation area, vibration, air pollution, and noise during construction without traffic becoming blocked. It is different from the traditional cut and cover method and shows more economy, speed, and convenience in underground engineering. The study case is located at the Chiayi Dapumei Precision Machinery Park in Chiayi County, Taiwan for the public pipelines across the No. 3 National Highway using the group pipe jacking method. The numerical modeling using the finite element method includes evaluating subsidence during group pipe jacking compared with field monitoring records, optimizing the jacking sequence of pipes for less subsidence during construction, and proposing a best plan for further engineering constructions. The results show to be beneficial for promoting knowledge about the pipe jacking construction method and for disaster prevent during construction. 陳景文 方世杰 吳明淏 陳建元 學位論文 ; thesis 75 zh-TW
