In addition, over recent years, the population continued to move to the metropolitan areas, and industrial and economic activities and transportation network were significantly expanded; therefore the condominium has become the main type of urban housing. Since 2000, the public housing was stop supplying for the government’s policy, and just private enterprises or fund-raising business keep supplying housing in the market. That is why the urban housing remains mainly by the private condominium. In addition, the government has tried to reduce the gap of differentials between urban and township by promoting the " five new municipalities ". As the conversion type of urban housing and supply characteristics of private condominium are closely related. Through the license provided by the Taipei City Construction Management Office, Taichung City Development Bureau and Kaohsiung City Construction Management Office, this research will explore whether the supply characteristics of private condominium in Taiwan are affected by the " five new municipalities " and "regionalism" . This research results that the private condominium of Taipei City and Kaohsiung City display typies of small-scale, multi-family and less buildings. However, the private condominium of Taichung City have a trend changed from small-scale, multi-family and less buildings to big-scale, less-family and more buildings. The supply indicator such as the change of development scale, development density and living density, as well as the floor area of each household floor , are significantly affected by the interaction of [age] and [region] in the three urban private condominium. The change of development scale of housing in Kaohsiung was affected mostly after as a new municipality . However, the development density and living density, as well as the floor area of each household floor of housing in Taichung City was affected mostly after as a new municipality. In addition, the research displayed that the supply indicatiors in private condominium of three cities are significantly affected by the " regionalism ", no matter whether it is before" five new municipalities "or after" five new municipalities ".
