Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 企業管理學系 === 105 === This research applies System Dynamics to study how the key factors influence the non compulsory auto insurance system. The key factors considered in this research are: insurance rate, accident rate, total premium income, and total claim paid. The System Dynamics model is established by determining the relationships among these factors. The parameters for the functions are based on Taiwan’s automobile insurance data which are collected from 2012 to 2016. We assume the insurance company will always maintain underwriting profit. With the condition, we find that (1) if insurance rate increases (while accident rate fixed) or accident rate increase (while insurance rate fixed), the premium will increase enormous; (2) Even if insurance rate decreases (while accident rate fixed) or accident rate decreases (while insurance rate fixed), we find that the premium will still increase slightly; and (3) When insurance rate increases and accident rate decreases, the range of premium increment is the smallest.
