碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 音樂學系 === 105 === Henryk Wieniawski was a Polish violinist and composer in the nineteenth century. His works and stylerepresents the French school and virtuosity. The Violin Concerto No.1, Op.14 in F sharp minor is one of his prestigious works. Although the depth of music connotation cannot compete with the second violin concerto, the challenging technique and structural arrangements for this first violin concerto occupies important elements. This concerto was completed in 1852 , the following year it was performed at Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, and the score was published in 1855 for King Wilhelm IV of Prussia. The work possesses unique personal style and the strong national flavor of Wieniawsky. The author studies Wieniawsky's life through music structure, technique, analysis, and interpretation. There are five chapters in this resesrch. The first study is analysis of data and resources .The second chapter is the discussion of Weniawski's life. The third chapter is form analysis. The fourth chapter is interpretation and performance practice. The fifth chapter, conclusions.
