Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 生死學系碩士班 === 105 ===   The main objective of this study was to explore the difference in the vocational high school students’ attitudes towards life and death after they experienced serious traffic accidents, facing a grave crisis of life and death. This study also proposes specific and practical suggestions based on its findings for the future reference of other teachers, schools and families in students counseling and life education.   This study adopted qualitative research methods for its thematic analysis, inviting the students who had survived major car accidents to be participants. During the interviews, both subjective and objective data and text were recorded from respondents. Then the text was repeatedly read by using the thematic analysis. After the data was analyzed, the participants’ personal life and death experience was recorded and summarized, and finally all the documents were interpreted, the study faithfully presented the students’ recovery process after car accidents and how it had changed their sense of meaning of life and death.   The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. Difficulties of life and death in a car accident experience bring vocational high school students amnesia and blank exposure situation. 2. Difficulties of life and death in a car accident event give vocational high school students a sense of gravity, fear of anxiety, and pressure. 3. Vocational high school students adapt to their personal car accident experience through positive affirmation and interpersonal support. 4. Difficulties of life and death in a car accident event strengthen higher vocational students’ sense of meaning of life, facilitate emotional maturity and help to grasp life opportunities.   According to the above findings, specific and feasible advice was put forward, providing reference for future research, school and family education.
