Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 環境與安全衛生工程系碩士班 === 105 === In order to effectively reduce the risk of using machinery equipment, this study summarized domestic and foreign regulations and related specifications and standards to clarify the necessity of installing emergency stop on machinery equipment, related functions and actuator types, to provide designers as a designing reference. In addition, this study also investigated relevant commodities of emergency stop actuator, and practically visited several factories to know about the current status of installing emergency stop on machinery equipment, and related functions and outer appearance, as well as compared the conformity between domestic and foreign regulations and related specifications and standards. The survey of actuator commodity discovered that four (4) types of emergency stop actuator conformed to the standards of international specifications and semiconductor industry’s specifications. However, for the guard specifications of emergency stop button, there’s only one type conformed to the specifications for semiconductor industry, the rest types of guards are failed. Moreover, the prevalence rate is about 92% for installing emergency stop on machinery equipment, and there’s certain percentage of machinery equipment that have not yet installed the emergency stop. Outer appearance of most emergency stop buttons installed on machinery equipment in factories conformed to legal regulations and related specifications and standards, but there’s certain percentage of emergency stop on factory’s machinery equipment that their emergency stop buttons have no marking background and patterns. Operating and resetting methods of emergency stop device installed on partial machinery equipment are not conformed to the standard regulations. Stop categories are Stop category 0 or Stop category 1, even they conformed to related regulations, and the function of Stop category 0 is not conformed to Taiwan’s corresponding regulations. Installation of guard contained the function of preventing personnel and trolley from mistakenly touching the emergency stop button; however, several percentage of emergency stop buttons on machinery equipment that have been covered entirely, this situation has violated related regulations and standard specifications. To sum up, the prevalence rate of installing emergency stop device on machinery equipment still needs to be improved, and some factories regarded production operation as the priority, thus the function of emergency stop may not perform immediately to reduce the risk, thus it lacks of protecting personnel’s safety.
