(3) Comparative analysis between economic benefits of renewable products and benefits on current treatment method.
The statistical data announced by EPA in 2016 show the wasted PU foam from the scraped vehicles and recycled fridges are about 4,989 tonnes and the cost for incinerating these wasted PU foam reaches NTD $240 million. However, the estimated economic benefits from renewable products will be up to NTD $330 million in accordance with my study. Therefore, to re-enter the wasted PU foam into the market is not only solve problems arised from current incineration treatment but create the circular economic value.
