However, with the rapid development of information technology, a lot of outsourcing companies can offer the same information technologies, what is the motivation contributes to the continuance intention between the company and the outsourcing company? This study based on the dual mechanism of dedication and constraint derived from social exchange theory and combined with swift guanxi to develop dedication-based swift guanxi and constraint-based swift guanxi, explain the reasons for the continuance intention between the company and the outsourcing company, and explore the causes of swift guanxi. We examined the model through empirical data collected from 150 respondents. The results found that (1) dedication-based swift guanxi and constraint-based swift guanxi positively affect continuance intention between the company and the outsourcing company. (2) the antecedents of swift guanxi, operational benefits and business-process specificity, positively affect the swift guanxi. This study brings contribution to the information technology outsourcing business practice.
