Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 電機工程研究所碩士在職專班 === 105 === The software management of an enterprise should not only authorize the software copyrights but also evaluate applicability and sufficiency of the installed software. Currently, it is challenging enterprises how to efficiently audit legality and effectively evaluate utilization of the installed software. This paper based software usage logs proposes a dynamic authorization system for evaluating software utilization. Specifically, the system is structured with a MVC (Model View Controller) architecture by web browsers, a web server and a Mongo DB. In data collection, through front end usage collectors, the system is able to store the software usages by organization, software, time, and behavior in the Mongo DB. In function, the system provides analysis of software installation ratio, usage ratio, and foreground execution ratio according to a software list. In a large enterpriser case, the system enables users to effectively audit software utilization. As for the five software packages of the enterprise, there are three types of license: by individuals, site, and execution. For example, MS-Visio, MS-project and Acrobat are categorized for licenses by individuals whereas MS-office being site license, in which the key of both types is to reduce the un-licensed version and to increase the new licensed version. Belonging to the execution license, AutoCAD is needed to evaluate its execution efficiency. In addition, the results to applying the proposed system with dynamic authorization indicate that installation ratio of the unlicensed version was reduced month by month and the foreground execution ratio and utilization ratio of the execution license software have increased 25% and 50%, respectively.
