| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 營建工程系碩士專班 === 105 === Construction projects often obstruct the traffic. In this study, the researcher took six months to do on site observation to see how constructions influenced the road users and vehicles. Four cases of construction and two cases of road engineering were included in the survey, from which were analyzed to see if the safety facilities of the projects under construction conformed to the regulation.
According to the result of the research and based on the learning organization concept and system thinking technique, we inferred that selfish departmentalism pervaded the whole engineering team, no matter the organizer, contractors and even the engineers. Each party only cared about what they could get from the projects without paying attention to the measures which secured human’s life. As we can see from the research, they just worked together but didn’t try to cooperate with each other.
Human’s life is invaluable. All the engineering faults could be improved, however, no one can rise from the dead. Only if people are willing to change their thinking pattern and trying to learn more from others, then this could be the solution.
