In addition, this study also compared the differences of different background players in participation motivation and barriers. Through questionnaires made by author, a total of 160 valid questionnaires were obtained from players of Ultimate Frisbee junior high school divisions in 2017 National high school flying disc championships. Then, descriptive statistic analyses, factor analyses, independent sample t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s method and Pearson’s Product-Moment for SPSS 18.0 Chinese version software were used to analyze these data. The results of this study were as below: I. The majority of participated players were male players, the majority of participated players were ninth grades students, the majority of the players lived in the north part of Taiwan, the majority of the player who had been the top eight in national competitions, the majority of the players who had practiced for more than five days a week, the majority of the players whose parents had fifty thousand to one hundred thousand monthly total income, the majority of the players who evaluated their own sport skills were general. II. Among the four facets of participation motivation, the "learning interest" was the highest, others in turn were "interpersonal relationship", "achievement requirement", "health fitness". Among the three facets of barrier factors, “structural obstruction” was the highest, others in turn were " interpersonal barriers ,"" personal internal obstacles. " III. Comparing to different participation motivation, players in seven different background demographic variable, “gender,” “grade,” “residence,” “the best records ever achieved,” “week practice frequency,” “gross monthly income of parents,” ” the self-evaluation of sport skills,” had no significant difference. IV. Comparing to different barrier factors, “gender,” “grade,” “week practice frequency,” “gross monthly income of parents,” and ” the self- evaluation of sport skills,” make few differences. However, “residence” and “the best records ever achieved” had significant differences. V. There was a significant negative correlation between participation motivation and the barriers of the Ultimate players of secondary schools. TSAI, JIN-HSIEN 蔡俊賢 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 96 zh-TW
