The findings will serve as evidence for specific recommendations to improve the ability to identify and verify the credibility and certification of professional car technicians. In addition to making recommendations, to meet its objective, the study will discuss the functional benchmarks of professional technicians in the inspection of used cars.
According to research and analysis:

The most frequently used and difficult skills are the application of automobile body and paint surface knowledge in the assessment of vehicle damage, and the use of automotive machinery and electrical knowledge for vehicle loss assessment and judgment. Even so, it is important to fully assess vehicle damage.
III. The analysis of occupational techniques employed by technicians that specialize in used vehicles identifies characteristics that are difficult to determine, including engine function, vehicle identification number, engine number, etc.
1. Establishing professional abilities: The combination of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are required to complete tasks for a specific occupation or a relevant field.
2. Objectives: To strengthen the management of human resources for the used automobile industry, promote the adjustment and optimization of Taiwan’s industrial structure, and find key talents required for industrial innovation and structural optimization. The plan actively integrates the energy of multiple private industry associations to accelerate the utility of key talents in the industry. Benchmarking should be used as a reference for enterprises, training institutions, schools, and individuals for the creation of a complete education for a license.. The functional benchmarks have multiple application methods, such as ability identification, development of certification courses, promotion of industrial human resources system, and development of formal training programs. In this way, both ends – training centers and companies – can cultivate and develop talented people with the same standards, eliminating the problem of a wide functional gap and streamlining the means by which enterprises find suitable professionals.
