Summary:碩士 === 南開科技大學 === 福祉科技與服務管理所 === 105 === In order to understand the relationship between the attitude toward controlling weight by exercising and willingness to control weight by exercising, the study surveyed 409 persons living in central areas of Taiwan by questionnaires and the effective questionnaires are 386. After understanding the data, we can promote the senior citizens to exercise and reach the purpose of controlling weight. The results of the study are: (1) the attitude toward controlling weight by exercising from people in the middle and elderly age are positive. (2) people in the middle and elderly age care if their family members support them or not when they control weight by exercising and also healthcare providers influence them a lot. However, the promotion and policy from our government should be mended. (3) People in the middle and elderly age are able to choose the way of exercising to control way, but some factors also influence them to choose this way or not. (4) People in the middle and elderly age care about their health but they lack the knowledge about the health and don't know how to do it in the right way. (5) All of the people in the middle and elderly age are willing to control weight by exercising.Finally, the most influential factor about controlling weight by exercise is the behavior attitude and the next one is faith in health; it shows that behavior attitudes of people in the middle and elder age are mostly influenced by the personal awareness of controlling weight by exercising.
