| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立澎湖科技大學 === 行銷與物流管理系服務業經營管理碩士在職專班 === 105 === The aim of this study is to investigate the rapid changes in society and the family composition associated with low fertility, which makes the living of the elderly in the future towards diversified development. " Living in nursing home" is one of elderly people living style in the future. According to statistics from the Ministry of the Interior, until the end of 2013, there were 1045 nursing homes in Taiwan, and there were 42947 elder people living in the institutions, which were 1.65% of total elderly population in Taiwan. It tells that people in Taiwan did not like to live in the nursing homes while they were old. The purpose of this study is to investigate the possibility of middle-aged people choosing nursing home, the influent factors affecting their choices. This study is aim to set up a model how the middle-aged people choosing nursing home and the associated influent factors based on the theory of plan-behavior and negative behavior. This study used the questionnaire and enrolled middle-aged people in Taiwan A total of 600 questionnaires were delivered in this study. Among them, 405 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. The statistical analyses were conducted with SPSS Statistic 22.0 software and SmartPLS 2.0. We analyzed several influent factors of middle-aged people choosing their nursing homes. Factors have significant negative effects on the willing of middle-aged people choosing nursing home are impression, and value whilst those have significant positive effects are information, subjective regulations, perception-behavior controlling, and attitude. The tradition thought and the risk aspect have no significant impact on the willing. We recommended how the nursing home to improve the practical management and studies in the future according to the result of the present study.
