Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 音樂學系碩士班 === 106 === The paper contains two sections, the first section is program note for “Performance Recital for Violin”, the second section is program note for “Solo Recital for Violin”. In first section, I concluded: Beach’s Sonata for Violin and Piano in A Minor is based on chromatic scales, chords of seventh and suspension; it features long melodies. Although Barber’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra is the work of the 20th century, it still retains Romantic lyricism. In second section, Bach’s Partita III in E Major for Solo Violin shows multiple voices with counterpoint; Bériot’s Scenes de Ballet connects different styles of dance music by graceful melodies and virtuoso techniques; Kreisler’s Alt-Wiener Tanzweisen is based on folk music; Piazzolla’s Le Grand Tango features strong rhythm, glissando and dissonant intervals. When performing pieces by Beach and Barber, keep long and fluent phrases; Bach’s piece need to focus on the structure of sentences; Bériot’s work contains different styles of dance music, passages contrasts should be obvious; when performing waltzes by Kreisler, you should be leisurely; Piazzolla’s tango emphasizes the unique tempo with accents.
