Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 企業管理學系碩士班 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to explore employee voice behavior from the perspective of Awareness-Motivation-Capability. A competitive climate is manifested as competitive awareness, performance-goal orientation is manifested as competitive motivation, political skill is manifested as competitive capability. Using data from insurance company of 239 supervisor-subordinate dyad, the results revealed that competitive climate is positively related to performance-based goal, whereas performance-based goal is not significantly related to employee voice behaviors. Thus, performance-based goal was not mediated the relationship between competitive climate and voice behavior. Moreover, political skill moderates the effect of competitive climate on voice behavior. Specifically, high political skill employee in the team of high competitive climate will reduce their voice behavior. Finally, according to the result, implication for practice and further research are discussed.
