Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 105 === This paper proposes a range-free and cluster analysis-based localization scheme for wireless sensor networks using a mobile anchor node equipped with a directional antenna. In proposed localization system, the mobile anchor node utilizes the GPS to determine its position and the orientation of its directional antenna is vertical to the moving direction of the anchor node. The mobile anchor node periodically broadcasts a beacon message containing its current coordinates. Once the mobile anchor node completes its trajectory, the coordinate of the sensor node is estimated using the received beacon messages sent by the anchor node. The collected coordinates are divided into three clusters and the sensor node selects the centroid of the cluster with the maximum data points due to the characteristic of the directional antenna's radio pattern. The experimental results shows that the proposed localization scheme achieves a lower localization error than that using K-means, statistical Mean and Median, and RSSI , but increases a little computational cost.
