| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to explore the participation in leisure participation and leisure constrains of residents in Mudan Township of Pingtung County. "Residents' Leisure Participation & Leisure Constrains Questionnaire" was used, aiming at residents in Mudan Township, Dongyuan Township, XuhaiTownship,Gaoshi Township and Silin Township in Pingting County. As a result, out of 400 residents, 399 completed and returned their questionnaires. 99% were valid. Analyzing the collected data by descriptive statistics, one-way multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), Sheffe's post hoc comparison and Pearson correlation analysis, the conclusions were as follows:
1. For leisure participation, most of the residents of Mudan Township in Pingtung
County showed little participation. They mainly tend to participate in social
activities first and arts is in the next place, and then recreational , traditional
and sport activities is at last.
2. Residents with various background showed variance in their leisure participation:
marriages showed liittle variance, while other background variances(genders,
ages, occupations, incomes and education ) had not.
3.For Leisure constrains, it was "intrapersonal constraints" that affected residents of
Mudan Township in Ping County most. Next is "structure constrains" and
"interpersonal constrains" last.
4. Residents of various background showed variance in their leisure constrains:
residents of various ages and incomes showed a significant difference, white
others of various genders, occupations, marriages and education had not.
5.Leisure participation and leisure constrains of the residents in Mudan Township
of Pingtung County showed little correlation.
