Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教師專業碩士學位學程 === 105 === An Action Research on Children Prose Affective Teaching for Fourth Grade Students Adviser:Liu,Jun-Hao Graduate Student: Huang, Pei-Chen Abstract This study aims to explore the process of children prose affective teaching for fourth graders in order to realize students’ capability and learning circumstances of affective understanding and the solution while facing the teaching difficulties. The experiment was adopted action research. The subjects were fourth graders from one class of Yang-Kuang Elementary School in Taichung City. This action research was conducted once a week, 40 minutes per period, and a total of 12 weeks. The teaching materials were nine pieces of article and the main topics were family, classmates and the society. The instrument as examining the teaching design was Zhong Sheng-Shiao’s communication rational sensibility teaching mode. The participants needed to complete the worksheets for previewing before the class. The researcher observed students’ differences of affective understanding while teaching in class. The major findings are summarized as follows: 1. Students had difficulties in affective understanding while facing the content which was a challenging for them among all different kinds of topics. 2. The teacher needed to adjust the communication rational sensibility teaching mode in order to fit in the 40-minute class in the elementary school. 3. Multiple teaching strategies in affective education helped students understand the affection in an article. According to the major findings, this thesis concluded with some suggestions for teaching and further research. Keywords: children prose, affective teaching, affective teaching design, fourth grade
