Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 教育心理與諮商學系教育心理與諮商碩士在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to explore the implication and application of the childhood food experience in early recollections, especially focusing on the food-related and family-related information. The study includes the interviews of the lifestyle assessment of 4 adult interviewees at the age from 24 to 54 by convenience sampling. The structured interview of 2 hours collects the life tasks status, family constellation, and early recollections of childhood food experience. The results of the study are listed as below. 1. The content and the expression of food-related information (1) Most of the food-related information is expressed in the form of metaphor. (2) The food experiences provide abundant metaphor sources for interviewees. (3) The narrative of childhood food experience reduces the interviewee mentally defense. (4) The commonality of food experience helps interviewer better understanding interviewee’s inner feeling. 2. The content and the expression of family-related information (1) Family members appear in every interviewee’s early recollections. (2) Specific and related family issues are emerged in interviewee’s early recollections. (3) Interviewee’s accustomed position and reaction are revealed in the early recollections. (4) The role of mother appears in every interviewee’s early recollections. 3. The process and discussion of lifestyle assessment (1) To keep appropriate interpretation of the food-related metaphors is important. (2) To keep appropriate comments on the family-related information important. (3) To understand the unitary of thinking, feeling, willing and acting of unique individual is critical in the life style assessment. The sensory of food provides interviewees abundant metaphor sources for their expression and the narratives of the food experience reduce their mental defense. The commonality of food experience helps interviewer to understand interviewee’s deeper feeling. The early recollections of childhood food experience bring out rich and valuable family-related information for life style assessment. Lastly, further study suggestions and future advanced research are proposed.
