The application of DRAM is limited to the realm of PC, Note Book, IPC, and Server etc. which need to co-operate central processing unit, but NAND Type Flash is very closely associated with our daily life as the popularity and high penetration rate of mobile device. In 2017, global value of production of NAND Type Flash reaches to 39% of total computer memory, and a forecast that its CAGR will at 7% before 2020. This research works on the development and application of NAND Type Flash from supply and demand perspective, and the impact from the dilemma in processes for advanced development. In addition, here focuses on how are big suppliers keep gaining their profit margin by using their industrial superiority and pricing strategy in facing short and over supply. The result of this study is pointed out, in this fiercely competing NAND Flash industry which facing the situation that the bigger the stronger, I wish my humble opinion could be helpful to Taiwan NAND Flash companies master advantage and take the chance for a better future.
