The thesis describes a technique for vinyl ester resin synthesis containing CTBN. The toughening resin Sample38 is developed successfully through selection of CTBN source, adjust of synthetic procedure, optimization of raw material ratio and application of thixotropic agent, and have highly toughness, impact resistance, elongation and lap shear strength after radical initiator is used. Compare a series of tests with contender, resin Sample38 is better. (Sample38:163.2 Kgf/cm2,Sample 60:44.8 Kgf/cm2). The aircraft body is used of adhesive, the structural weight is reduced by 15%, so the application of this resin significantly reduces the use of cladding materials and manpower to reduce the waste of resources.
