This thesis focuses on the power system with distributed generation, which includes a diesel generator, a wind turbine and solar power. In order to investigate the effect of fault current limiter on the system, a dynamic system model is developed for analyzing the system dynamic responses when the system is subject to a three phases short-circuit fault.
