The purpose of the study aims to develop place-based education curriculum and analyze the level and dimension on senior pupils’ sense of place in the remote elementary school. The curriculum, based on Skilbeck’s situational model, have developed the cultural color teaching module combining with aesthetic education and the local cultural studies. Data were analyzed by Shamai’s the levels of sense of place and Ardoin’s dimensions of sense of place. The results have showed that the sense of place senior pupils reached attachment to a place and expanded multidimensional sense of place through biophysical setting. Therefore, the cultural color teaching module could be the base of place-based education curriculum development and the experiential learning cycle could fit for teaching strategy on place-based education curriculum.
