Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育傳播與科技研究所 === 105 === Based on case study methodology, this study developed Interactive Teaching Materials on mobile device with user-interface-system-developement process and designed a case of the Thai-restaurant waiter's training unit. Such Interactive Teaching Materials was examined by usability evaluation. Three approaches adopted in this study were user testing, heuristic evaluation and questionnaires. Therefore, this study aimed to adopt Nielsen’s usability dimensions including learnability, efficiency, errors, memorability and satisfaction as the usability evaluation. The subjects of this study were 9 employees of Thai-restaurant in Taipei City. Two experiments were implemented in 3 weeks, conducting through a user task sheet and the questionnaire for User Interaction Satisfaction were administered after the experiment. Besides, other subjects of this study were including 4 experts in heuristic evaluation and 30 users for satisfaction. The results were as following: (1) Two experiments showed the performances of Interactive Teaching Materials was significance according to the percentage, completing time, and the average error of completed tasks. Besides, the interviews found most of participants showed more positive attitude of Interactive Teaching Materials due to its easiness of operation, clear illustrations with texts and a plenty of video learning resources for learning experience enhancement. (2) In heuristic evaluation, experts indicated that a friendly interface usability of Interactive Teaching Materials depends on a clearly design of navigation system, degree of operation difficulty, ideal size of buttons and interface layout and Icon’s affordance. (3) The questionnaire showed the satisfactions of Interactive Teaching Materials on mobile device were positive, which average score was over 4 points (Likert Scale 5 points). On the other hand, the result of t-test is significant on usability. Therefore, the results indicated that users were satisfied with the operation of the interface in this Interactive Teaching Materials.
