Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 工藝設計學系 === 105 === Life is a journey for decades. During the voyage, we learn various life skills and abilities for surviving. Meanwhile, we left little time for looking at ourselves, knowing ourselves, and detecting the deepest feelings of us to get along with ourselves. The subject of my creation - "Knots and Liberation", that is, to return to my own feelings at present, to face myself, to face the dear family, to face the confusions caused by the family member’s shifting position and to face all of these emotional entanglements. I apply ceramics constructing as a method to clarify the world of my mind. First, the thesis begins with the theme of self-perception. And it would focus on discussing the feeling and its origin of my inner knots, understanding my unstable emotional reaction via Individual Philosophy, and recalling the relationship between self-development and the family. Secondly, I survey the appearance of liner research and merge it and self-perception into a concept of Art therapy. Finally, I form the inner and abstract emotions into a concrete way by making the 3 series ceramic works named “Sensation”, ”Conformation”, and “Liberation”. According to them, I could sincerely face the knots of my psyche; confront the troubles and get the real liberation gradually from the process of ceramic creation. Through this creation, I’ve reviewed and organized many essential moments in my life. Thereafter, I assume that I could cherish each significant instant in life. And in the course of ceramic creation, I could get an increased feeling of well-being and healing from it to accomplish the balance of body and mind.
