Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 美術學系版畫藝術碩士班 === 105 === The creative discourse, “Great Light”, describes the fear of darkness and the psychologic resisting, which I have to confront every night. The creation thought is clarified through the discussion and investigation of psychology, aesthetics, and art history. I create the paper block and woodcut creation through intuitivism to analyze the individual self. This procedure starts from clarifying the creation purpose and the self-healing through creation. This leads to transferring the feeling of fear into the creation and restarting self-talk, and results in a brand new moment of healing and growth. Finally, the creation style and the practice of self-individual could be accomplished through this procedure. There are five primary chapters in the present work. Chapter 1 illustrates the motivation and purpose of the creative discourse. Additionally, the research scope, methods, structure and proper-noun definition could also be found in this part. Chapter 2 is theoretical basis it provide the analysis of my mental and psychologic status. Besides, some creations of other artists are analyzed and discussed from the perspective of empathy and intuitivism aesthetically in this part. Chapter 3 illustrates the practice of the present creation, including the notion, content, style and technique. Chapter 4 describes the interpretation of the creative discourse. There are 4 series : “Darkroom”, “Resistance”, “Confrontation”, and “Great Light”. The 4 series depict the inner psychologic and mental status of the author. Chapter 5, finally, provides the conclusion of the creative discourse. The creation is reviewed, and put the forward direction.
