| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 105 === Lin-Family Garden and Shuzhuang Garden is the heritage garden left by the Lin Benyuan family on both sides of Taiwan and Xiamen, which are closely related and have their own unique style. Scholars of mainland and Taiwan both have researched in different degrees of the two gardens of the Lin Benyuan family, The comparative analysis of the aesthetics design is relatively incomplete of the two gardens. This paper hopes to study the relationship and difference between the Lin-Family Garden and Shuzhuang Garden in the aesthetic design.
This paper takes Lin-Family Garden and Shuzhuang Garden as research objects, and have made a comparatively comprehensive comparison and analysis on the construction idea, landscape layout, dynamic line distribution, gardening elements (including Heap hill, garden water, plant arrangement, architectural sketch), landscape construction technique and gardening material. Through the methods of data collection and field survey, we have a comprehensively acknowledgment about the internal pattern and development process of the two gardens, and also learned the history of the gardens in the Minnan region and the Taiwan area. At the same time, we are thoroughly understood the changes of Chinese modern gardens, the family history of the Lin Benyuan family and the forming course of the public concession of Gulangyu. By means of comparative analysis, this paper compares and discusses Lin-Family Garden and Shuzhuang Garden in every aspect of garden design.
It is found that there are obvious differences in garden design between Lin-Family Garden and Shuzhuang Garden. It includes the different style pursuit of construction idea, the different design of landscape layout and dynamic line distribution caused by the terrain, the various differences in the gardening elements, the different emphasis on the construction of the landscape construction technique and the various application of the material. Besides the objective factor of the natural geography environment, those differences are the result of different garden Master's different gardening thought, it is the embodiment of the Lin Benyuan family's different spirit pursuit in different period the result of different garden Master's and different gardening construction ideas, it is the embodiment of the Lin Benyuan family's different spirit pursuit in different period.In addition, there are some similarities in the design of the two gardens, the fact that Shuzhuang Garden as a continuation of Lin-Family Garden in different places, which can be regarded as the embodiment of the same nature of the two gardens, but also a microcosm of the modern development of Chinese gardens.
