The more faster the information is obtained, the disaster recovery will be done more briskly. Therefore, this study examines factors that influence twitter users in disaster information sharing. Most of the previous studies evaluated on virtual community, whereas in this study, we adjust on social media. We tested personal, environmental and information platform factors. In terms of personal and environmental factors, there a lot of research that has addressed the issues, while there are still plenty of them that are using information platforms as their main issues of literature. Google form collected the data from online survey. Three hundred and fifty data were collected, but only 257 data were valid. We used Structural Equation modeling (SEM) to analyze the data from online survey. The result suggests that personal outcome expectation and altruism from personal factors, as well as community identification from environmental factors, have significant effect on intention of disaster information sharing. However, the amount of sharing participant, frequency of sharing, and searching information do not have significant effect on disaster information sharing. Moreover, information platform also positively influences disaster information sharing. At last, the final result is the intention of disaster information sharing positively influences its behavior of Jakarta twitter users. Yu-Qian Zhu 朱宇倩 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 60 en_US |
