Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 105 === The objective of this thesis is to design and implement a boost type power factor corrector (PFC).Preventing the shortcoming of sensing the input voltage, the proposed method using an average current mode control without supply voltage sensing. This thesis employs a commercial PFC IC as the controller and analyzes the operating principle of the proposed converter. Comparisons between the proposed method and one-cycle control method both with average current mode control are made in this thesis as well. The power factor controller, UCC28019, is used as the controller to implement and verify the performance of the proposed method. The specifications of the proposed PFC are as follow: input voltage range 90~264 Vrms/60 Hz, output voltage 400 Vdc , rated output power 460 W, and the switching frequency 65 kHz. Experimental results show that the efficiency is up to 93%, power factor is greater than 0.99, the THD of the input current is less than 7.5%, and the current harmonics can comply with the IEC 61000-3-2 Class D regulation under the full load conditions. These results confirm the design and implementation.
