The smoothed finite element method is discussed and compared with the finite element method and hand-calculated solutions. The solutions are compared and discussed. In this study, Fortran programs was used to simulate the cantilever beam in the axial force, concentrated force, compared the traditional hand algorithm and computer analysis.
