By involving user into part of design procedure, and make the user-centered concept embedded into mass product, this advantage let user come to the center of design itself. A special participation style is call after-sales participation, through the after-sales participation, consumers have the opportunity to adjust the original product into their own good while normal people usually can’t design or manufacture at home. This research will discuss the origination of participatory design, different type of participation and application in various areas first. Then three novel creation inspired by analyzing the existing cases and designer’s experience will be present in the following. Three projects are “Annotation- table design”, “Fragrance Painting- aroma paper design” and “Misty- lamp design”.
