While processing laser welding, to adjust voltage and pulse parameters is a critical factor for processing quality. It is routinely to adjust the parameters in order to obtain the best welding result before operation. However, it is necessary to adjust the process parameters again while changing the materials and thicknesses. The purpose of this study is to develop a predictable model of laser welding parameter to achieve optimized parameter before processing. Based on the principle of laser welding, the mass of the melting part of the material after absorbing heat is calculated, and by fitting with welding experiment to achieve good welding quality, Parameters of welding experiments are used to construct the parameters table, based on a parametric model for laser welding. After the model has been developed, a verification experiment was conducted by two sets of experiments with stainless steel sheets of 200μm and 300μm, using generated above parameters. Results were obtained in which the actual processing were accuracy of above 92%. This model is able to provide operators with good processing parameters of laser welding.
