Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 生活應用科學系碩士在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and job satisfaction (JS) of elementary school teachers in Taipei City, and to analyze the differences in OCB and JS among teachers with different personal background variables, and to explore the correlation between OCB and JS. In this study, 480 questionnaires were sent to teachers in elementary school of Taipei City with purposive sampling and 403 valid questionnaires collected. This study is to find out whether there is a significant difference in OCB and JS among teachers with different gender, age, length of service, scale of school, position, teaching professional education, highest academic degree, marital status, family type and religious beliefs . The research tools included personal background information, organizational citizenship behavior questionnaire and job satisfaction questionnaire. The data were processed with SPSS 20.0 for Windows. The resulting data were analyzed with relevant statistical methods as the descriptive statistics analysis, t-test, one way ANOVA, Scheffe’s method, Pearson correlation. The results are as follows: First, the average score of overall OCB for elementary school teachers in Taipei City is 3.32. The average score of professionalism is 3.53, which is the best in all sub-variables, followed by school identity, altruism behavior, citizen's virtue, and self-accomplishment, which has the lowest score. The average score of JS for elementary school teachers in Taipei City is 3.00. The average score of interpersonal atmosphere is 3.25, which is the best in all sub-variables, followed by teaching work, teacher-student-parent interaction, administrative leadership, salary and welfare, and government ordinance,which has the lowest score. The overall OCB of the elementary school teachers in Taipei City will vary significantly depending on the teaching professional education and marital status of the teachers. The sub-variables OCB will vary according to gender, position, teaching professional education , the highest academic degree and marital status with significant differences .05-.001. The overall JS of elementary school teachers in Taipei City will vary significantly depending on the scale of the school, teaching professional education, the type of family of the teachers. The sub-variables JS will vary according to the scale of the school, position, teaching professional education , marital status, the type of family and the religious beliefs with significant differences .05-.001. The overall OCB of the elementary school teachers in Taipei City has significant positive correlation with the overall JS, and also in all sub-variables. In the end, the paper summarizes the research results and offer suggestions for the relevant government departments, school authorities, teachers and future researchers as a reference to improve the OCB and JS as a teacher.
