In this study, 550 questionnaires were sent to junior high school students in Taoyuan City with purposive sampling and 500 valid questionnaires collected. This study is to find out whether there is any significant difference in the parent-child relationships and anger among students with different gender, grade, family structure, parental education, parental occupation, and parenting style. The research tools included personal background information, the parent-child relationships questionnaire and anger questionnaire. The data were processed with SPSS 20.0 for Windows. The resulting data were analyzed with relevant statistical methods as the descriptive statistics analysis, t-test, one way ANOVA, Scheffe’s method and, Pearson correlation. The results are as follows: First, the average score of the overall parent-child relationships for junior high school students in Taoyuan City is 1.70. The average score of respect between communications is 1.80, which is the best in all sub-variables, followed by parent-child conflict, lack of independence, and parent-child interaction, which has the lowest score. The average score of anger for junior high school students in Taoyuan City is 1.37. The average score of the expression of anger is 1.49, which is the best in all sub-variables, followed by an explanation of the stimulation and the control of anger, which has the lowest score. The overall parent-child relationships of the junior high school students in Taoyuan City will vary significantly based on the family structure, moter education, and parenting style of the students. The sub-variables of the parent-child relationships will vary according to gender, family structure, parental education, and parenting style with significant differences .05-.001. The overall anger of junior high school students in Taoyuan City will vary significantly depending on the gender of the students. The sub-variables anger will vary according to the gender and father parenting style with significant differences .05-.001. The parent-child relationship of the junior high school students in Taoyuan City has significant negative correlation with overall anger, and also in all sub-variables. In the end, according to the above conclusions and findings, make specific recommendations for the relevant government departments, school authorities, teachers, parents and future researchers.
