| Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 財務工程與精算數學系 === 107 === The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of health management on the severity of diabetes. In this thesis, the author used the "Longitudinal Cohort of Diabetes Patients" data set of the National Health Insurance Research Database to obtain the type II diabetes patients in 1999 to 2012. Based on whether to participate in the " The Improvement Program of National Health Insurance Payment for Diabetes Medical Treatment" as a classification, statistics of the diabetes survival rate, incidence of diabetes complications, diabetes complications survival rate and other data. It was found that diabetes occurs mostly at age 50, and most of the complications of disease waiting time are 5 years. The complications of kidney disease, cancer, high blood pressure and heart disease tend to have high incidence rate, high mortality rate. On the health management part, it was found that there was a significant improvement in the risk associated with mortality and incidence of diabetes complications in actively treated patients.
