Summary:碩士 === 大仁科技大學 === 文化創意產業研究所 === 105 === Abstract This study revealed the results of how the local community development association did to actuate the senior community development under the limited conditions such as shortage of manpower and resources; in addition, the challenges and the problems the community faced to reach sustainable development in Fanchang Village of Changzhi Township in Pingtung County, Taiwan. A multi-method research strategy included the document analysis, field investigation, participates in experiential, questionnaire survey, and focus interview are used in this study to analysis the situation how the senior participated the community development activities. Therefore, the questionnaire survey method was used to collect the further information based on Community care, Humanities education, and Environmental protection issues to understand the motivation, difficulties, and satisfaction of joining the community events from the participants. Questionnaire survey with convenient sampling used narrative statistics, project Analysis, factor analysis, analysis of variance, chi-square test, related analysis to focus on group interview and support and deepen the relevant arguments. Finally, the study raised some suggestions in five aspects: activity organization, manpower training, recruiting volunteers, creating high quality rural living environment, and promoting the industrial features of the community.
