Design/ methodology/ approach: This study collected 123 valid questionnaires from commercial banks in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Quantitative approach was used to test the proposed hypothesis. Originality/ value: This study helps companies improve organizational outcome and volunteer behavior in organization. Specifically, understanding the role of happiness emotion and social relations can gain benefits to organization. Findings: Our findings indicate social relation is positively related to happiness emotion. In addition, people with happiness are willing to gain knowledge sharing and organizational citizenship behavior.
