Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 音樂系 === 105 === Brahms’ German art song has a unique style in Romanticism, whose composition retains the style of Baroque Music and Classicism. He emphasized the “melody” of the art song, especially the vocal melody and piano bass-line, and often used some rhythmic patterns, such as syncopation, hemiola, cross-rhythm, etc., so that vocal and piano have an important position in the work. His composition style is not the same as contemporary mainstream music. In contrast, he was very interested in the folk, in particular re-arranging a large number of folk and gypsy music, enhancing the artistic value of national music. Therefore, he often used non-mainstream writers of poetry works, as this paper “A study of Fünf Lieder, Op. 106”.
